Greetings, fellow truck enthusiasts.

My name’s Sean, and I’m kinda new here. I’m posting because I may have the opportunity to purchase a rare, Canadian-built straight truck. Unfortunately, it’s located just east of Ottawa, ON, and I live in Spokane, WA. And since I’m currently studying for my engineering degree, I can’t travel to Ottawa to physically inspect the truck, help load, or fill out paperwork, so it would have to be done remotely. I know it’s inconvenient, but I’ve been searching for an example like it for some time now, and I’d hate to miss out on such an opportunity.

I was hoping that if any of you have imported some old iron in the past, you might be able to share some of your knowledge or point me in the right direction to get the proper documents, talk to the right people, find a reliable hauler, etc.

Any other need-to-know information or advice would also be greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance!

Best,

Sean
