coop661 Posted October 7, 2023 Share Posted October 7, 2023 Hi everbody, long time listener first time caller. I recently picked up a 93 CH613. It has a 350 with Vmac1 and a 9speed Eaton. I'm using it to haul logs and it has done surprisingly well hauling 80k. That being said I would definitely like to get a little more power out of the motor. I see these tuner programmer things that claim 10-30% power increase, has anybody on here used one without upgrading turbo or injectors? I'd definitely like to get 400-425 but not if that means great risk of engine failure. JoeH Posted October 8, 2023 Share Posted October 8, 2023 The E7 was made with a 460hp option, so there's no reason you shouldn't be able to hit 400+, just need the pros to chime in with what your 350 needs to turn it up. Joey Mack Posted October 9, 2023 Share Posted October 9, 2023 He has a Vmac-II truck, I wonder if it requires an offset cam key, like the early E-Tech's did, along with a turbo, and nozzles and programming.. I have never done that to an E-7, just E-Tech's..
