Hello.

I have. 1980 Mack R model single axle dumptruck.

I have a Wagner Lockheed AD 80152 valve with its exhaust plumbed hard piped to a QR 1, 2 ??? valve. These 2 valve work together this brass hard piped together. It is found inside the frame rail right behind the cab..drivers side.

1) What does this valve do?

2)What is it called?

3) Servicing this valve.

4) Any ideas?

Trying to Re seal this I'm finding is near impossible. Square shouldered "O"rings and internal valve "O"rings I can not find right size anywhere. I can not find a rebuilt or new one either. Wagner Lockheed disbanded 40 years ago..

I have been told they no longer make such a two valve married together.

Thx for any input you might have on this

It may be a front wheel limit valve Is there a limit switch on the dash? does it go to the front brakes?

It does appear to be a front axle limiting valve. I found there is at least one 80150 valve available on eBay.

So it proportions air pressure to front brake cans so as to apply evenly?

It cuts the air pressure in half so the front brakes don't lock up enabling you to steer! The way I under stood it ! the auto one which yours likley is after XX amount of preasure gives all available air pressure!
