I don't know if it is the smallest bulldog or not, but I have a small one.  It is in the picture next to a full sized bulldog . Is this what you are looking for?

I have one of those small ones. It was on a rookie rod, on a 78 DM i used to drive..

once again it's proven " never too old to learn something new!!"...   what was always called a fender guide is now known as a "rookie rod "" LOL. have to admit name rookie rod makes a lot of sense. I considered them more of a decoration.

in the day I have installed a number of the small bulldog on "rookie rods" . had a few "in stock "in personal inventory and gave them away when moving took place.  the plastic models; B model service manuals; and so much more given / thrown away !! where's the crystal ball when you need it ???

The sharp ears tells me they go back 40+ years. I dont know when the smooth ears came out.
