Posted May 11 Popular Post Share Posted May 11 Some of you may or may not know that back in February I totaled the green pickle 2016 Ram 1500 Big Horn in a snowstorm in Bethlehem, Pa. If you are not familiar, parts of Bethlehem are very steep. It was early in the morning before the road crews could get out and salt (translation the city didn't want to pay the overtime so the decided to wait until the crews started their shift at 0600....) My wife asked me for a ride to the hospital because she hates driving there in the snow just because of the hills. I had just dropped her off and was going down one such steep hill and the brake pedal wouldn't brake when braked. There was a girl in front of me in a Ford Escape and the Ram tried to mount the Ford Escape. I didn't think the damage looked all that bad but apparently the radiator cross member was broke and the frame was bent. Really irritated me, I wanted to do 200,000 on that which I had never done before (128k at the time of the wreck.) Dad and I had just driven her to Phoenix and back in August 2023 and I thought I was going to miss her but the new wheels have grown on me. 2017 Ram "Rebel" Model with a 5.7 Hemi. Has air ride (which I need to watch, apparently air bags are expensive) and has a Dolby surround sound stereo system which sounds absolutely fantastic !! The Rubber Duck 006 Posted May 11 Share Posted May 11 (edited) Yes Air bags are Expensive couple years back I'd say 5-6 Air bags for my 93 Lincoln town car Signature Series were 300-400 a piece!! Nice Blue Truck by the way!!!
