For lots of years, I was always wishing I would’ve been in my 20s in the 50s now that I am old and tired. I think my favorite year would’ve been 1966 grown-up that way I could go down and buy a 64 galaxy which would’ve been two years old And all I would have to do is wash it and drive it OK now I’m going off subject help me out here. Joey have a great day, fellas.

rain cancelled out number of parades /gatherings today in CT. Knights of Columbus always carry large Flag (takes at least 20 people properly). regrettably  I have never participated  with the carrying. knees and other old age factors don't allow it. will not chance a stumble and drop Ole Glory.

I drove three WW II vets today in parade in DC. It was raining a little at the beginning but cleared up. The trip is 12 blocks and took half an hour. Those guys are so amazing The up front vet will be 99 in Sept. He was from Tenn and drafted in 1944 as an infantryman sent to Europe and participated the Battle of the Bulge. In their group there were several vets of WW II, Korea and Viet Nam. Lots of people on each side cheering and waving and most importantly thanking them for their service.

Our group of cars (4) start at about 35 minutes in. I'm in the black '41 Cadillac limo.
