I pulled into this AWESOME truckstop on Highway 20 in Irving,New York and they are Old school!! The Diner is called TallChief Diner and I highly recommend!! I ate an Appetizer,Full meal,and drank sweet tea for less than 30bucks!!! I laughed in my natural way, and pissed off my buddy. You know,,,, I am a Yankee. I said something about little necks and he got madder, then my order for raw oysters showed up, and it was a small bowl of oyster meat that was poured out of the tub, not even rinsed, just sitting there like a soup.. anyway..... Rubber Duck's meal looked pretty good.. When l was delivering liquor for the state of NH the stores had a recipe booklet for drinks. lf a costumer asked what was needed to make a drink the employee could tell them. Some of the names of the drinks are hilarious! So the "Bartenders' revenge" is very simple (and this is in the book) to mix. lt is saved for the total azzhole customer of the night. That rubber mat where the bartender mixes all the drinks and spills a little each time. The mat is drained into a glass with ice and served to the azzhole customer, on the house! Gets around good though. But the other thing she always does when we come up here is go to "Sam the Clam's" for whole belly clams, she loves them. We'll leave here Wednesday and head on to Macungie.
