Well it certainly looks the part as a heavy truck for long haul type of operation 

And as far as I know Ford still are in the heavy truck market in overseas countries 

So this certainly is not out of the realm of what Ford is capable of doing at 5he drop of a hat

Ford did make a good looking truck back in the day dad had a fleet of ltl 9000 ford triaxles started out with 2 1978 ltl 9000 long hoods he bought used they were 1 serial number apart then we ended up with 10 of the 1988 and up body styles  1 Pete and a freightliner otr tractor

The fact that they won't engineer air brakes for 7.8 Godzilla powered 750's to keep them in class 7 on west coast says to me they are happy ruling the van market with Transits.
