Ricky Beals Posted June 26 Share Posted June 26 My air brake light on the dash is not going out when my truck air gauge goes past 60-70 psi. It goes really dim around that area but then brightens up and stays on. Can someone point me in the direction I need to go to try and fix this? Joey Mack Posted June 27 Share Posted June 27 there is a pressure switch above the pedals that controls the low air buzzer and light. i dont know which one, but if you dump the air, with the key on you can unplug a wire on a switch and see if the light goes out, that will be the switch. a replcement air switch is basic . just by one with 1/8'' npt threads 2 blades, normally closed, 80 ish PSI rating.. no need to go to Mack. Im keeping the old girl up with maintenance and there is always something to do. So I will look for this switch. You think it will be directly above the pedals?
