May have a Dead Axle or lift axle on it

Looking the axle flange bolt patterns it doesn't seem so. More looks like a standard 4WD bogie. Looks like a Mack bogie though.

My Grandpa's B-61 was a tandem Chassis.

Real simple ,someone slid the single  axle out and replaced with a tandem.   terry

Very good if so. But if they cut the rails behind the cab and welded a section with the bogie off another truck that would be seen as a different story.
