B42 Low air pressure buzzer

Go to solution Solved by HarryS,

When I got this truck, the low air pressure buzzer worked normally, shutting off at about 60 psi.  Then it started going off all the time.  Then stopped entirely.  Now it is back to going off all the time again.  This truck has great air, no leaks.  Where is the buzzer located?  What is involved in changing it?  Thanks, Doug

There can be a few reasons, wire shorting to chassie, but the most likely reason is the low air pressure switch. Where that switch is located will take someone with more knowledge of the "B" line than I. Often they are around the brake valve, but can be other places as well.

The pressure sending unit on my B is on the passenger side firewall just below the shutter valve and the buzzer is under the dash behind the instrument cluster.
