Got my 96 mavk with a e7 engine.

Any advice on replacing the fuel supply  pump.  Pump has 2 lines and is mounted on the side of the injection pump and is secured by 3 bolts.

Any advice is greatly appreciated

Thanks

You got me curious Terry..  I think piston length is 'key'  otherwise ,, easy swap..  Of course, I am very rusty on repairs that I have only done a few, and a long time ago..  jojo

Having starting issues.

Checked for leaks and can't seem to find any. So thinking this may be the next to try.

Have you checked the drain back tee at the end of the pump! Also the jumper between the heads ! Quite common for these return lines to cause start issues! Any of these plastic line can cause issues! Hate to see you throw money at an un needed pump!

Ok got a chance to take a look and noticed the line coming from the injection pump to the one side of the secondary fuel filter was cracked up.  Replaced it and gonna give it a couple days to see if that fixed it.  Will post if that cured things.

Thanks

Well changing that hose didn't fix it but no problem the hose needing replacing anyways.

Took a closer look and found a cracked  small plastic line.  It was shot.

It was connected to a banjo bolt with tees on the driver side of inj pump and went to a fitting on the passenger  side..

I attached a couple pictures   you can see the wear and cracks.

Thanks everybody for the help
