You may spend much less efforts painting just the visor for about the same visual effect. Or even better. On the other hand light roof eleminates heat of the sun so makes sence in painting it but there's not a big difference in darkness for that matter on my mind. My poor dog spent more than a day with me in my 6-71 powered, weed burner exhaust Fleetstar, Looking back I surprised he didn't bite me at the end of the day. It had a square corner at the top rear, and it just didn't look right because there's not a square corner on this truck, everything is rounded off. So the I decided I needed to go all the way around with it. I started the light green at the bottom of the drip rails and went all the way across the back of the cab. I didn't like that either, I said "it should be below the windows in the sleeper". So I taped and masked it up again and went down to the top of the black stripe this time. Zina said she loves it, but I'm not sure. It was cool when I was 18 yrs old. Wind it up, let off, and let it bark for 1/2 a block. Everyone knew I was coming!!
