mowerman Posted September 21 Share Posted September 21 My God I’ve been wrestling with this thing starter fluid blowing air into the fuel tank nothings working and it’s an air starter so I have to keep charging the air tank also but I did discover one of the fuel lines is literally dripping fuel on the ground so I guess the next step is to change all of themI’m going to give it one more shot. . They just keep sucking air. I believe that’s the problem. I put everything away and went to the car show. Looks like it doesn’t get anything done this weekend. Made like five attempts I said I’m done told my pal with the El Camino I would meet him over there and it was getting late anyway by the time I got out there I’m not sure those lines are original. I don’t know, but they would hold up for 60 years. If that’s possible. I never did see it on television but the only reason I got rid of it was it had the old farm tractor rear end top speed was like 50 miles an hour. Body was absolutely rust free Southern California pick up no dance for what I remember. The body was pretty much real clean.
