I would love to have a square body C-10 with a 250 straight six and 3 on the tree.. that was my first of about 8 square bodies.. I still drive my home made C-30  redneck truck..

back around 87 or 88 one of the large local manufacturers send 10 of their security vehicles to auction. 75 C10 short box step side 4X4 with 250 six and 3 on the tree. no ac, no radio.

all but two had under 30,000 miles on them. the two that had aftermarket radios put in still only had under 45,000 miles on them. red, with black bench seat.

all 10 sold for $250, and the same person took all ten when the option was offered on first truck sale.

My God I’ve been wrestling with this thing starter fluid blowing air into the fuel tank nothings working and it’s an air starter so I have to keep charging the air tank also but I did discover one of the fuel lines is literally dripping fuel on the ground so I guess the next step is to change all of themI’m going to give it one more shot.  . Don’t start just at the start sanding it where it is.

Thanks for that Joey the lines have had it. They just keep sucking air. I believe that’s the problem. I put everything away and went to the car show. Looks like it doesn’t get anything done this weekend. Made like five attempts I said  I’m done told my pal with the El Camino I would meet him over there and it was getting late anyway  by the time I got out there I’m not sure those lines are original. I don’t know, but they would hold up for 60 years. If that’s possible.

I sold It that to a guy that said he was gonna use it in a commercial. I never did see it on television but the only reason I got rid of it was it had the old farm tractor rear end top speed was like 50 miles an hour. Body was absolutely rust free Southern California pick up no dance for what I remember. The body was pretty much real clean. I had three of those 48-51 and a 53.
