Hello! Well that's a hell of a rig there. ls it right hand drive? Looking at the paint worn off of the fender from the driver getting in and out making it a right hand drive. Thinking it would be difficult to move the shifter handle/s? Not much room on the right side in mine due to the engine laid over that way. More pictures would be nice, more the better. lol Mine is a 1970 MB600 and my son has a 1975 MB600 as a fire truck. Send me a PM with questions you might have about it and lll try and answer them for you.    .....Hippy

I have confirmed that Orville Body in Orville, Ohio made Mack MB cabs. I bet my bottom dollar that it was a "Mackified " adaption of the White Compact 1500  cab as Orville also made cabs for White Motors. I have attached a portion of Bill Peters's comprehensive article on the Orville Body Company. I wonder if AussieMack1988 MBR's cab was made here in the Buckeye?

The Mack R model and Brockway 700 series cabs were made by Sheller Globe company also of Orville (??) OH.. The cabs were not totally interchangeable, especially in the cowl area as Mack used a tilt hood and Brockway was still using a Butterfly hood. I wonder if Orville Body made the Brockway integral sleepers???

Brocky:

There were 2 cab companies in Orrville, Ohio.  Orville Body and Crown Steel Products. Apparently, they both built cabs for Brockway at one time or another. Schiller Globe was Toledo Ohio company that was a conglomerate of various automotive industry suppliers. My email is dencmp@outlook.com. If you send an email to that address, I will forward to you 2 great multi page articles on Crown and Orville.
