Bill's insurance dropped him instantly..... and refused to pay for damage to his truck... never had a ticket or accident in his life. forced retirement and was dead 6 months later. he kept driving to give himself a reason to get up in the morning. 1 Quote when you are up to your armpits in alligators, it is hard to remember you only came in to drain the swamp.. These are the type of guys farmers are always looking for when hiring a trucker for the season. The younger guys might move a bit faster but they tear up the equipment in the process. He was well past his late seventies l'm sure. lf we walked across the yard l would have to trot to keep up with him! He was always the first in and most of the time last to leave in the afternoon. l'm not sure he lived six months after he retired.
