Ha ha yes I was thinking that I don’t know. I don’t really have a whole Lotta issues right now. I never have but I’ve been saying for years. I’ve been very fortunate and probably sometime in the future. Hopefully later everything will just fall off at once. I am still planning on going out there every year somewhere or another. I’m just thinking of maybe watts next year Macungie  is too big

I thought somewhere around 3 million. I don’t know. I never really thought about it. I really never had an accident except the collided with a girl that ran a red light about 35 years ago and a few yard scrapes bob

when you are up to your armpits in alligators,

it is hard to remember you only came in to drain the swamp..

no me either girl was cited for running the light,,,and tom i have no idea,,,,i did count one year 56 times on donner pass,,,,and i ran that hill for 6 years,,,,but that alone was just part of it,,,been chaing up the last 35 years,,,bob

and tom the 56 times ivolved 2 --3 railers and 2 single on outside tires both boxes,,,,takes around 45 minutes  sometimes worse part it trying to find an emty spot to put them on,,,,,your never alone,,,,,lotsa other trucks and cars up there,,and sometimes its dumping snow all over you while your doing it,and walking around in slush,,most of us wear full rain suit water proof boots and rubber gloves...bob

They either use Tire chains or There's them funny lookin' tire SOCKS lol I've never had to use chains on a truck even when I was logging. The only tire chains I've ever used was on my Garden tractor in the winter blowing snow lol

In the early 70's hauling petroleum out of Syracuse NY at night, I had to chain up a single outside drive a lot of times to get from the main road into a distributor's yard and back out.  You also learned to lay a S curve in the discharge hose so you could move the truck out of the ice pockets, made by warm tires, while you still had some weight on the drives.

l only carried chains when l had my own truck doing P&D. Most of the time l just put them down and drove over them to get unstuck. Saved having to call a tow truck for a twenty foot pull!    .....Hippy

I think most of us did the same thing. Oh no, I did it a timer or two with Nissans
