One of my first jobs was a trash truck. One of  those I didn’t get to drive it. I was working the back throwing trash, leach compactor.

Giants were Osterland Diamond Reos. That little girl is from when they were part of White still.

We had a 65 or 66 diamond reo with 350 cummins and 13 speed for lowboy.

But it had Itty bitty rears and was constantly snapping through shafts. Plus it was rode hard and put away wet every day for the 15years before I got into it and the cab was held together with bubble gum and bailing wire.
