Geoff Weeks Posted Monday at 02:30 PM Share Posted Monday at 02:30 PM Huck's aren't any better than bolts, Rivets are stronger than bolts, but not Huck's, Go ahead and replace with bolts. Both Huck's and bolt stretch under tension and "neck", a rivet expands when compressed (set) and fills the hole. Huck's a quicker in a mfg assembly line, and can't loosen, but aren't stronger.
