Thanks. If your engine dies NOT have that hose I would be interested in what it has in the two ports that this hose is useing.

I finished late last night and it was pissing down with rain this morning

I'll check tonight and report back, if mine doesn't have the hose I'll check my mates as his R600 has never been apart from new, only 400,000 km from new, still very original

You should probably get several pictures of the truck with the 400,000 km on it.

Okay, a cracker of a day so had a captain Cook

Now remember my truck has the steering wheel on the correct side unlike the U.S. trucks

I only mention this because our trucks might be plumbed a little different

The breather on the rocker cover on mine has no holes for hoses, it does have spots cast into it

But wait theres more

So were do these air lines go

20241113_200521.thumb.jpg.fb08c523658195aee3cdadb963fd7d3b.jpg

Green circled airline goes to the gear box, reverse, first

Red circled airline goes to the injector pump rack

Now crusieliner 64 Paul

This looks like a simple piston type of deal, I can see bleed holes etc to let air out and or in

Yours should be a piece of piss to fix over a few pints of your favourite larger

Bellow is the air line to my boost gauge

Hang on I'll zoom in on this

Dunno if any of this helps, bit old mate the sorted your motor has jiggered up the plumbing department

Licensed to thrill your missing a (as the younger set say out here) "a shit ton of boost"

I wonder if the breather is for a cab over type of deal, possibly a garbage truck

Dunno if this helps or not

But everything is a bonus

While sorting the pics I spied this a wee distance away

I apologize for the confusion. Yesterday I posted “It appears that the title of this thread has caused some confusion. I only mentioned the tip turbine because, of course, the entire intake system between the turbo and head is unique to this system and it is so where in that system that a port will be if one already exists.” To try to clear it up but let me say, this is not about the tip turbine it is about finding a good signal source for a boost gauge.

yup sure did! your not using the puff limiter why not use that hole!???

More stuff I found about the mystery tube:

On pages 17/18 it shows this threaded hole

Sorry I hope I didn't highjack your thread too much! What were we talking about again? Something about a boost gauge? lol

That's perfect for me, I picked up a set of Jakes for mine maybe 12 months ago

No paper work until today

Thank you

Interesting pic Paul. The Puff Limiter on our EM6 is leaking air from a small hole on the cylinder thats screwed into the injector pump.see photo. We're told this cylinder cant be overhauled. We blocked off the air line from the valve on the inlet manifold to stop the leak....

There is no overhauling that it was sold as a unit! Un screw it ! Youll see how it is! Hint a a 9/16 fine bolt will fit the hole ! if the rod is protruding with no air to it it will not let the engine have full fuel!   Just sayin!
