President Trump is delaying tariffs on Canada for 30 days due to Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau agreeing to appoint a fentanyl czar and place 24/7 security officers on the border.

Canada is implementing our $1.3 billion border plan, reinforcing the border with new choppers, technology and personnel, enhanced coordination with our American partners, and increased resources to stop the flow of fentanyl. Nearly 10,000 frontline personnel are and will be working on protecting the border.

In addition, Canada is making new commitments to appoint a fentanyl czar, we will list cartels as terrorists, ensure 24/7 eyes on the border, launch a Canada-U.S. Joint Strike Force to combat organized crime, fentanyl and money laundering.

I have also signed a new intelligence directive on organized crime and fentanyl and we will be backing it with $200 million.

California lawmakers on Monday approved a “Trump-proofing” bill package that includes $50 million in state funding to challenge President Trump’s policies in court and provide legal aid for illegal aliens.

Under an agreement with the Trump administration, Texas National Guard soldiers can now arrest and detain people for entering the U.S. illegally from Mexico.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Monday visited the southern border on his first trip as defense secretary.

“Border security is national security. Guys and gals of my generation have spent decades in foreign countries, guarding other people’s borders. It’s about time we secure our own border,” said Hegseth, a combat veteran who served in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Guantanamo Bay.

“Tens of millions of people have poured across this border under Joe Biden’s administration, unchecked. We have no idea who they are. We have no idea where they’re coming from. We have no idea what their intentions are. In many ways, under the Biden administration, and Tom knows this better than anybody else. They were facilitated their entry into this country. I can't remember a time in my life when the government was delivering this much substance on a day-to-day basis. Talk about earning their salary. I knew it wouldn't be dull, but this is exceeding all expectations.

sadly it took the deaths of 67 innocent people for the story to appear how the rotten politicians want 5 more flights out of the most traveled /busiest airport so it's convenient for them to go home after wasting time on how to spend taxpayers money.  more then likely the 5 extra flights will appear.
