President Trump is delaying tariffs on Canada for 30 days due to Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau agreeing to appoint a fentanyl czar and place 24/7 security officers on the border.

Canada is implementing our $1.3 billion border plan, reinforcing the border with new choppers, technology and personnel, enhanced coordination with our American partners, and increased resources to stop the flow of fentanyl. Nearly 10,000 frontline personnel are and will be working on protecting the border.

In addition, Canada is making new commitments to appoint a fentanyl czar, we will list cartels as terrorists, ensure 24/7 eyes on the border, launch a Canada-U.S. Joint Strike Force to combat organized crime, fentanyl and money laundering.

I have also signed a new intelligence directive on organized crime and fentanyl and we will be backing it with $200 million.

Cutting off their money isn't enough. We need to do something like this to them. I want to be able to spit in their faces when they are dragged down the street

California lawmakers on Monday approved a “Trump-proofing” bill package that includes $50 million in state funding to challenge President Trump’s policies in court and provide legal aid for illegal aliens.

Californians are being threatened by an out-of-control administration in Washington that doesn’t care about the Constitution, that thinks there are no limits to its path. Here in California, there are 1.8 million undocumented people [illegal aliens]. People who pay about $8.5 billion in state and local taxes every single year. They raise families, and they contribute to our communities. These law-abiding [Not, they entered the country illegally] immigrants [illegal aliens], they are Californians [Not] — they are not criminals [Illegally entering the country makes them criminals].

Assembly Speaker Robert Rivas

1.8 million pay in 8.5 billion annually... Would that be about $4,700.00 each ? How, if they are not on the books ? Is that just from their consumption of goods and services?  Just curious.

when you are up to your armpits in alligators,

it is hard to remember you only came in to drain the swamp..

In an act of extraordinary friendship to our country, El Salvador has agreed to the most unprecedented and extraordinary migratory agreement anywhere in the world. The country will continue accepting Salvadoran deportees who illegally entered the US. It will also accept for deportation any illegal alien in the United States who is a criminal from any nationality, be they MS-13 or Tren de Aragua and house them in its jails. In addition, President Nayib Bukele has offered to house in his jails dangerous American criminals in custody in our country, including those of US citizenship and legal residents.

Ed Martin, the US Attorney for the District of Columbia, reached out to Elon Musk on Monday, vowing to take legal action against anyone who tries to sabotage the Department of Government Efficiency's shakeup of the federal government.

We must keep all our American government employees safe and we must protect the American people's property. Anyone imperiling others [is] violating our laws. I ask that you utilize me and my staff to assist in protecting the DOGE work and the DOGE workers. Any threats, confrontations or other actions in any way that impact their work may break numerous laws. Let me assure you of this: We will pursue any and all legal action against anyone who impedes your work or threatens your people. We will not act like the previous administration who looked the other way as the Antifa and BLM rioters as well as thugs with guns trashed our capital city. We will protect DOGE and other workers no matter what.

On February 1, 2025, the El Paso Sector Intelligence and Operations Center (EPT-IOC) received information advising that Mexican cartel leaders have authorized the deployment of drones equipped with explosives to be used against US Border Patrol agents and US military personal currently working along the border with Mexico.

sadly it took the deaths of 67 innocent people for the story to appear how the rotten politicians want 5 more flights out of the most traveled /busiest airport so it's convenient for them to go home after wasting time on how to spend taxpayers money.  more then likely the 5 extra flights will appear.
