So they just turned the water on ?  No one in water management was given time to inspect the systems and set up any needed relays or manage down stream flood gates, aqua ducts and sluces ??? No one had time to exercise any pumps to help lift water over high grounds ?

On Tuesday, Elon Musk answered reporter questions about his claims that the U.S. taxpayer was sending $50 million dollars worth of condoms to Gaza.

"I'm not sure we should be sending $50 million in condoms anywhere. Frankly, I'm not sure that's something Americans would be really excited about. But you know, if it went to Mozambique instead of Gaza I'm like that's not as bad, but why are we doing that?"

You are asking a lot from a man who has declared bankruptcy 4 times.

I don't do the political band wagon ; BUT 4 times bankruptcy declaration has other benefits {on Paper}. I do believe one or more of the bankrupt moments was during a divorce, based on actual observation and reason I moved; my two landlords are in divorce process= which by way was brought on by his two daughters. short version === daughters moved all daddy's assets very discreetly ( over 650 K plus condo ) so daddy was bankrupt ON PAPER. leaving step mom with zero.

"We do find it sort of odd that, you know, there are quite a few people in the bureaucracy who have ostensibly a salary of a few hundred thousand dollars but somehow managed to accrue tens of millions of dollars in net worth while they are in that position. Which is what happened in USAID. We're just curious as to where it came from. Maybe they're very good at investing, in which case we should take their investment advice perhaps."

President Trump on Tuesday signed an executive order instructing Russ Vought, the director of the Office of Management and Budget, to develop and implement a plan under which most agencies can hire just one new employee for every four employees who depart.

"Upon expiration of the Day 1 hiring freeze and implementation of the hiring plan, agencies will be able to hire no more than one employee for every four employees that depart from federal service."

Government functions related to public safety, immigration enforcement, or law enforcement will not be subject to the hiring ratio.

Moreover, agencies are directed to plan “for large-scale reductions in force and determine which agency components (or agencies themselves) may be eliminated or combined because their functions aren’t required by law.”

"It seems hard to believe that judges want to try and stop us from looking for corruption, especially when we found hundreds of millions of dollars worth, much more than that, in just a short period of time.”

"If there’s not a good feedback loop from the people to the government… if the bureaucracy is in charge, then what meaning does democracy actually have?”

“If the people cannot vote and have their will be decided by their elected representatives in the form of the president and the Senate and the House, then we don’t live in a democracy; we live in a bureaucracy."

"The feedback loop must be closed so that the public and elected officials, rather than bureaucrats, make decisions."

Two top Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials, Russell Hott and Peter Berg, have been removed from their positions, for failing to support increased arrests and deportations.

Todd Lyons, who previously ran ICE's Boston office, will take over as acting head of ICE Enforcement and Removal operations.

“ICE needs a culture of accountability that it has been starved of for the past four years. We have a President, DHS secretary, and American people who rightfully demand results, and our ICE leadership will ensure the agency delivers.”

On Monday, President Trump suspended the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. I am thrilled.

This bizarre law allowed the government to impose US law on foreign soil. Imagine you're a US company doing business in South Korea and you give a company's leader a gift. It's a legal action in South Korea, but the US calls it a bribe and charges you with a crime. I say that overseas, US companies are subject to the laws of that country, and US law has no standing within that sovereign country.

The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act unfairly hobbles American companies while foreign rivals not so encumbered swoop in.

“The act sounds good on paper but in practicality, it’s a disaster. Suspending the act is going to mean a lot more business for America.”

The Senate has voted 52 to 48 to confirm President Donald Trump's pick of Tulsi Gabbard as the director of National Intelligence.

Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) was the only Republican to vote alongside the Democrats to oppose Gabbard's confirmation.
