“Whose throat do I get to choke if this proves to be wrong? It just seems like we’ve decided to begin a trade war on all fronts, and that’s OK, if the person who thought this through has an answer for why you go after partners that we have a very long storied relationship with. I wish you well, but I am skeptical.”

Senator Thom Tillis (R-N.C.)

Ok I'm just asking I love the mack information but if our views don't match yours there's a problem?so the first amendment doesn't work here?just wondering

You made the statement "Yeah we re doomed.open ur eyes" and I asked a question, yet you never answered the question.  I simply expressed my view on the matter, which is the opposite of yours. I never threatened your First Amendment rights!  You insinuated that anyone who doesn't agree with you must have their eyes shut.

Technically, the First Amendment doesn't even apply here, as it only protects your freedom of speech from Government interference.  This is not a Government website.  You are free to speak your mind here, but others are also free to speak theirs!

“the most important part of this decision…it was clear from the context…the court’s opinion is that Boasberg went out of his jurisdiction. His jurisdiction should have been confined to a district, he’s a district judge, this case should have been brought in Texas. Instead, it was brought in D.C. … to judge-shop…this is the beginning of the court pushing back on the idea that these district judges can overwhelm the executive branch and have, essentially, a veto over President Trump’s executive actions.”

An initial DOGE survey of unemployment insurance claims since 2020 has found:

1.      24,500 people over 115 years old claimed $59 million in benefits.

2.      28,000 people under the age of five claimed $254 million in benefits.

3.      9,700 people with birth dates over 15 years in the future claimed $69 million in benefits.

In one case, DOGE found someone with a birthday in 2154 who claimed $41,000 in benefits.

“Your tax dollars were going to pay fraudulent unemployment claims for fake people born in the future. This is so crazy that I had to read it several times before it sank in,” says Elon Musk.

I'll give a certain benefit of the doubt regarding those under 5:  severe disabilities?  I suspect this DOGE post is overly broad, there's probably circumstances that could warrant sub 5 year olds receiving some form of some vague entitlement program within social security to offset some disability they were born with.

I have a daughter (2 years old) on state insurance to cover county provided Early Intervention therapies. She got stuck during birth and has some oddities resulting.  Just wrapped up 1.5 years of physical therapy, working on speech therapy now.
