Im not sure about Zuckerberg.. I think he is trying to save his Butt.. If he makes a public statement about his B.S. in the past, I will likely accept him.  I dont know anything about Bezos, outside of Amazon.

There's no question about that. And remember, Google CEO Sundar Pichai and Apple's Tim Cook were also in the converted CEO group at the inauguration.

Trump has now put that embarrassment to the Episcopal church in her place. It's shocking they allow nutjobs to give left-wing political lectures.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14311785/Trump-woke-bishop-sermon-prayer-truth-social-inauguration.html

The so-called bishop who spoke at the national prayer service on Tuesday morning was a radical left hard line Trump hater. She brought her church into the world of politics in a very ungracious way. She was nasty in tone, and not compelling or smart. She failed to mention the large number of illegal migrants that came into our country and killed people. Many were deposited from jails and mental institutions. It is a giant crime wave that is taking place in the USA. Apart from her inappropriate statements, the service was a very boring and uninspiring one. She is not very good at her job! She and her church owe the public an apology!

One needs to consider who was running against him in the election to understand why PA voted for him. Below is a statement I made on 10/27/22 a few days prior to that election in the Best of Biden thread. Page 102:

^^^^^This. I can't believe that the Republican primary selected Dr. Oz as their candidate. If Dave McCormick would have won the primary this wouldn't even be a contest at this point. To many people don't believe Oz is genuine for many reasons. Its sad the guy was born and raised in Cleveland OH, lived summers in Turkey, lived and worked in New York City until his TV career started in 2009. Then lived in Southern California until now he all of a sudden is the best person they could come up with to represent PA in the US Senate. To be fair he did live in Philadelphia for a time in the mid 1980s while as a student attending the University of Pennsylvania. Unfortunately he is just a big of a quack as Fetterman. He is just wearing different rags. The governor's race is just as bad. Can't believe the Republicans came up with this guy. I will bet my lunch and this week's pay the Governor will remain a democrat because their candidate is very moderate and appeals to lots of people on the right. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Now here we are 2+ years later and they ran McCormick again and beat the incumbent Democrat. If Republicans here weren't so daft in 2022 McCormick would have handily beat Fetterman and my guess is would have won the second seat this past fall. Shoulda Woulda Coulda. To run Dr. Oz as a candidate for US Senator of Pennsylvania is a bigger joke than Fetterman wearing a hoodie and shorts to the inauguration.

Agreed !

I again say, I dislike parties and wish they were banned. Individuals are elected to go to DC and represent the desires/voice of their constituents.

We constantly see a party's agenda taking precedent over the desires of the elected official's constituents.

From Jan 20, every exciting new day is full of surprises.

Elon today chided President Trump's Wednesday announcement that several tech companies would invest $500 billion into data center infrastructure. Exactly, OpenAI, Oracle and MGX, plus Japans SoftBank.

So today, Musk said "They don’t actually have the money. SoftBank has well under $10 billion secured. I have that on good authority." That may have gone over like a lead balloon, or perhaps the boss upon learning they didn't have their money lined up and not wanting embarrassment told Elon to jerk their chain..

(Musk's derision of OpenAI stems from his dispute over the OpenAI company's Sam Altman. Altman and Musk were once friends and business partners, creating OpenAI as a non-profit organization to develop AI. OpenAI carved out an entity within the non-profit allowing corporate investors to raise capital for the project known as ChatGPT which took an early lead in the AI race. Musk rightfully sued OpenAI and Atlman for violating their charter, after it was clear that they were able to get a head start in the competitive field. Musk has since launched his own AI company called xAI.)

President Trump is dismantling his predecessor's dangerous policies prioritizing DEI hiring at the FAA. The DEI order prioritizes safety and efficiency within the FAA. No more sub-standard air traffic controllers.

"We will forge a society that is colorblind and merit-based."

Just hours after President Trump was sworn back into office, Texas ramped up its border security efforts by adding floating barriers along the Rio Grande.

I look forward to continuing to work closely with President Trump to secure the border. AMERICA IS BACK!

Texas Governor Greg Abbott

I’m looking forward to a bunch of excellent improvements. I don’t like his deportation. It’s going overboard with the dreamers unfortunately that should’ve been addressed years and years ago before it got as far as it has now and yes, I have always thought doctor quack oz is  an idiot.

Dems. Are making the DACA thing sound evil... Hes not gonna rip families apart, we have a path to become U.S. Citizens, time for them to get on it...
