Bob, all their trucks look that way, even the dump trucks that run asphalt every day.

his company and mine are about the only ones here in Jersey that wash their trucks every day before being put away for the night.

I’ve heard some of the older fellas tell me about companies back in the day that used to require their drivers to clean their trucks every day or they would not get paid. Thanks for that TJ.

25 years ago l drove for a company that did redi-mix, precast, aggregates, and site work. lf you didn't wash at the end of the day you would be on it before you rolled out in the morning. We would be washing trucks, trailers, and mixers just like the mailman, rain or snow it didn't matter. And if you had a "nothing to do" moment you had better be cleaning the inside or polishing something! Back when it was fun!!    .....Hippy

We have two competing ready mix out fits here ! one union ,one non union ! The the non union place trucks are a joy to work on .the union shop not so much just caked with stalagmites ! If you got to work on anything you end up having to jack hammer off chucks to do so! makes me angry ! Glad I'm away from this stuff now! going on three years don't miss this BS!
