Crane Carrier Corp with a Sheller-Globe Cab

I thought I had more pictures, I'll have to post them when I find them. BTW Sheller-Globe also built the later Brockway "Mack Cab"

Right now I'm thinking of Bobby Fiero.   I think he made a move or two in your back yard like that 😂

I don't think I know him. Did he work for Racho or something?

Yeah, the stacks were a dead giveaway. Amazing how we hauled loads without 8" stacks 13 feet in the air back in the day

and they did an excellent job hauling WITHOUT  computers/modules / and boost pressures and like the muscle cars of the day had an engine sound never duplicated today.  texaco oil ran a fleet of long nose GMCs having 318. living on the water near rte34 every night I could listen to the 318's climbing the hills waiting for the sound of the down shift.

Joe Wesley's (Amquip Crane) 12v71 Brockway moved some serious loads back in the day

I know what you mean J.C.   Don't go to the Mayberry Truck show,  in Mt. Airy N.C.  You will puke to death...

And if they bring that spread axle Bull Rack with 10 foot of speakers between the tandems, Get out the BIGGEST set of sound deading ear muffs you can find!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And you can NOT visit with anybody at the show!!!!!!!

Brocky

My first big truck I ever owned was a Federal 604

Still have it today, 671 in it these days awaiting me to rebuild everything when I get a moment

It still runs and drives

There is some old footage on video, before smart phones, possibly before mobile phones of me zooming about in it

Young and full of hopes and dreams back then
