I have some photos of Barletta B models in a junk yard in West Hazeto from around 2003.  I should Try to find them. They were orange and black.  A friend’s family has an off road park up there and had an orange and black N model water truck that must have come from Barletta. I don’t think I took a photo of that. I remember Bartetta's and I used to go past Pittston Trucking their fleet was all B models that I remember when I was living in Harding their one mechanic got killed when he was adding air to a split rim tire I knew the guy but I can't remember his name. They hauled ashes out of the Harding powerplant.

Looks like a B615, with alloy radiator and high mounted air cleaner, so it would be a 1962-64 model, being the years of the B615 with the V8 - 864

Frog was liv'n large drive'n that truck.

Wow, never saw pinstriping that size before.    .....Hippy

In CT years back one construction co ==(Allen ) Beard  construction had all trucks  ;black/red which looked like circus wagons with the pinstriping and polish. also the was E Gasparri  waterbury ct had the chrome and polish. they bought a new DM -didn't like the paint on the rims , so they pulled the 10 tires and repainted the rims. it had a recall for chattering brakes ( cams factory installed backwards ). they stood over me as I pulled axles and let me know " don't get a spot of oil on the rims!

Wow I didn’t know you could put them in backwards

issue was the S cam was in "backwards " in terms of the s operation going against drum/tire rotation. memory serves correctly it was only the front drive having issue. pull two tire sets /spread shoes(not remove) slide cam on driverside out switch with cam on passenger side.  rear drive the brake chambers mounted opposite  cam travel correct. simple factory screw up effecting ?// trucks nation wide ??

That is this Barletta family. We have a lot of them here in Hazleton

"Louis John Barletta is an American businessman and politician who served as the U.S. representative for Pennsylvania's 11th congressional district from 2011 to 2019. A member of the Republican Party, he served as mayor of Hazleton, Pennsylvania, from 2000 to 2010."
