Looks to me like these were all pulled out of a garage and not a lot of prep work was done prior to sale. I'll stand by my statement the C500 Kenworth that started this thread could be sold for $15000 or maybe a little more with the proper prep and marketing. Heck another forum member offered $10,000 for it having only seen 3 pictures of it..... If the truck in question was in THAT auction, it might bring more than the KW, but sold in a private sale, alone I don't think you'll see $15k. Most assuredly not $25k-$30k. The KW was the closest in spec's and year to the truck in question, had a generator and living 1/4's which may or may not be something of value to the buyer. The box truck had a lot of funky stuff going on with the frame too. It might have been a single axle tractor orginally. Looks like someone added a steel frame, tandem axle, torsion bar cut off to the original aluminum frame. Then they extended the cut off to accommodate the van body. Probably meaningless for a hobby truck but interesting to speculate.... They weren't all that good when they were brand new. Look at that sharp internal angle on the aluminum portion. That's just asking for a crack.
