Hello I need some help. I am not very familiar with these Mack engines. I have a 2006 E7 350 in this CV713. We bought it from a guy who said it had a fuel leak and would only start on either. Well after getting i back to the shop and going over it that is not the case. We have verified that it is not losing prime, I have a sight glass on the fuel line and have fuel and no air. I changed the fuel filters. The only thing i noticed was the wires going to the front cam sensor where rubbed through and i repaired them. This engine will start on either and run fine once its started. If you shut it off for a minute it will not restart without either. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Also, mt scan tool will not read off the J1939 only the J1708. Well if it is reading the 1939 it is not working with my Mack software. I do have a generic cose of SID 274 FMI 4 active

check the sensor in the fly wheel housing near the starter.  the wires on the truck side tend to get beat up by debris coming off the steer tire. peel the loom back and inspect. ohm that sensor and the cam sensor..  900-1500 ohms is good. Please leave the ether in the lawn mower shed...

So I checked the sensor and they are ok. I changed the fuel check valve and i noticed i can push the fuel threw with the primer pump. I think that's odd. It says online it should hold 60 psi. Maybe this new calve is bad from the dealer.
