R Model look alike Granite?

Just curious if anyone has managed to rework an R model hood to fit on a modern Granite chassis? If so, what did it take and do you have pictures? Has anyone done anything else like air filter cans or wing windows?

that would be interesting to see how it comes out . the R model hood is going to be too narrow for starters. Maybe a modified superliner would be a better starting point but you would still have to modify to hood to meet the cowl to look anything like a truck

Would be strange, the granite cab is much wider than the R cab.

I can't imagine it'd come out pretty. You might as well do something like this

Yeah I figure it would take a heck of a body man to basically graft 2 fiberglass hoods together. You'd have to cut the fenders and grille out of 2 hoods and graft them back together, building new body lines along the way.

Mainly curious if anyone has done it.

Peterbilt did it. My guess if anything even close to a Mack like that exists, it's in  The land Down Under.
