81 's looking real nice ;(is there such a thing as a bad picture of a B-81? ) nope. for the sake of realism only NOT a criticism : take some flat black/brown and paper towel ;dab the fifth wheel, gives the look of grease.  flat white/ yellow for glass portion of headlights , same flat black/brown for tread on tires gives appearance of road dirt. tiniest brush you have and flat brown between the wheel and spokes making the brake drums appear  rusting. small contractors black marking pen (size of a ball point pen) carefully mark the space between radiator shutters. regular pencil will work also. I just have this thing for details ; if I studied details before say "I do" : I'd be single today. live and learn.😄

I understand your point but I don’t like weathering these after you pay $110.00 for a Very Rare kit. As a Millitary Modeler and a RR modeler for many years I think I can give you a few pointers on how to “Really” do a weathering job with out the el cheap O methods you are trying to give me 😂. I think you need to go back to class and study.

I had a big old excuse for lots of years. I was working till my hours when I didn’t have instruction manual for putting this thing together. I think I got one from Chevy 41 he put together the same model and gave me the instruction manual around 10 years ago still only put about an hour into it since so yes you might say I’m running out of excuses ha ha thanks for the push

by the way, I bought the model kit from a friend of mine 24 years ago that used to buy and sell model kits he sold me the kit  and somebody someone already started putting it together, and the instruction manual was lost somewhere along the way so for a long time, I didn’t really have anything to go by… bob

No, I don’t. I already got a set quite a while back. I have no excuses. I have been thinking about it the past couple of days I think I’ll go get it now. Thanks for your offer.

I don’t know why guys do that and make them look like they’ve run through a snowstorm

The only thing I weather is Military stuff and then I don’t over do it. I’ve been working on a 1/25 Mack RD685S dump truck with a plow. I’m making it look like it’s was just delivered to the customer that’s the way I built my 1/25 Trucks. I’ll post it tomorrow
