I'll work on PT 3 tonight.  Not sure it will get uploaded until tomorrow night.  It takes like 2-3 hrs to edit and save and 2-3 to download.

I think that is what I did before, I know I had to weld the pins in.

I found a shifter on eBay, has Mack pt no. but not sure what it fits.  Looks like correct mounting.

I finally had a chance to watch the video's

I have been a tad busy of late

Fantastic job on the rebuild, great stuff all round and hopefully it will give many trouble free yeara of operation

The oil pump plunger should sit in a eccentric or out of round doo hickie and pumps in and out as the shaft rotates

On my 12 speed someone had sealed it up with aome RTV silicone sealant crap that oozed out on the inside and broke off, then this crap got pumped through the oil galleries and eventually got stuck on the sliding dogs

Required a complete disassembly to fix

And I think my box was dirtier than yours, what a mess

Great work and a really impressive job you've done

Well, last night I buttoned up everything, including getting the floor back in.

I found a leak in the transmission, seems one of the side bolts I left out in the rear box must be a through hole as it seeped fluid when I had the truck running the other night so I siliconed the bolts in and need to wait for that to set up before running it again.

I also did a whoops the other night.  I installed the air start tank before moving the fuel tank so it is stuck behind the truck and no room to wiggle it through with the air tank in the way.  I put the tank up on the rear chassis and once I pull truck out I will install the tank.  Luckily it runs off the driver's tank.

I should be able to test drive it tonight?  Weather is good, roads relatively clear.  We will see.

I think them three holes on the side were for handbrake bracket.  terry:MackLogo:

Awesome job Larry! Looks great. And as far as the spray paint goes,..

had to go out and get Roman and Belle. 2 kids were walking by so I had to grab Roman before he decided to bite their shoes.

Anyway, where was I- oh, spray paint. I got a little agitated in the Walmart store a while back when I went to pick up a can of appliance white paint. Not to paint an appliance, but that's what we used to paint our wheels with back in the day. And all the spray paint was locked up, you couldn't touch a can of any of it. There was a button there on the wall and a sign that said "Push For Help". So I pushed the button to summon help several times, waited around about 10 minutes because I wanted the paint, but no help ever arrived. So needless to say I got pissed, threw all my other items down on a counter that nobody was at anyway, and left. I went to the hardware store and got the paint, probably paid twice as much for it, but oh well.

Somebody told me me later that it was locked up because kids were "huffing" it to get high. But when I went back to the Walmart store I actually saw somebody who worked there and told him the story, and he said they locked it up because people couldn't just go by the color on the cap, they had to spray in on something. He said they would ruin $600 worth of merchandise spraying a $6 can of paint to test the color.
