Cool looking truck and as it appears in very good condition, congrats on the purchase!

I'm also in interest for the part numbers for the cab shocks and airbag. Checked out my copybook but found it only conteining data for a R-model. Airbag is different definitely (there are two of them in a R) and the shocks I don't know. R's had two types of shocks - for air suspended cab and for a solid mount.

l could have alot of fun with that truck and l really like it! BUT, l don't get it. Those exhaust pipes look stupid, more so than Dodge pick-ups with the mirrors extended all the way when not towing a trailer . Or shifter (cog changer) handles that reach too the roof of the cab. Or sun visors you need to sit on the floor to see out from under. l'm done.    .....Hippy

nice!!!

i think that is the first SINGLE AXLE superdog i have ever seen!

there were tons of them out in California hauling two 2 single axle pup dump trailers. they have some weird weight laws out there making this a common set up for them

I don't think it was weight, IIRC it was length laws that were the issue. truck and pup or doubles were allowed many places that a straight 48' trailer was not. There are still many roads (last I looked) where trailer length and OAL are restricted.

The other weird thing about Calif in the old days (now unified with the rest of the country) was the "weight" was carried on the trailer plate, so if you went into Calif back then the trailer had to be registered for 80K or you had to buy a trip permit for the trailer.
