Unless someone can provide proof, not just someone talking in to a phone, I say total and complete BS!

I personally know someone who is a contractor for CalFire with a 1948 Kw watertruck with twin sticks. Firetrucks are exempt period!

I have seen reports that. They had to go to Sacramento to get approval for the emissions systems on the trucks.. i find it hard to beleive, but this is liberal California..  i expect it to be false.

What sucks, is that people are so good at creating false news stories, then posting them on-line, and it looks so real..  I went on 'X' a month ago, and i have to pay close attention to be sure im not reading B.S.

I know Fire Trucks/ Emergency vehicles over here are exempt, having said that new ones all have emissions equipment but the older ones can still be used. Some of the older vehicles in the reserve fleet can and are used as required.

Then how do you explain away a 1948 KW watertruck being on Cal-fire payroll?

I cant...  I also am not aware of all of their equipment..  all i know is what i can see in videos, and even those can be altered.  I have also see private videos of homes burning and no firefighters or equipment in sight.

I was Google's with all my might when I saw this. I thought I understood that they were subjected to safety inspections.  Looking to see if they had brakes and all that good stuff.  Things were so much simpler back at station 51 for Roy and Johnny.

I was able to find some articles saying that th trucks are NOT being turned away..i had to dig a little..

If this showed up, they would say it was unsafe for drag queen firefighters to drive wearing stripper shoes
