I took a blow gun and blew into fitting on front cone and air came out differential breather. Now it appears power divider is locked even without air pressure. I suspected maybe bad diaphragm but not seeing one anywhere on what I’ve taken off so far. Any tips on what to look for or possible issues? The shifter shaft looks to be in nuetral, what has you thinking it is locked in.? I have the truck in neutral and rear driveshaft off and the input and output of front differential are locked together and spin freely. However when I take a pry bar and push spring back and try to spin either shaft on power divider it won’t turn. Truck isn’t jacked up. So maybe it isn’t locked? Joey Mack Posted Saturday at 07:48 PM Share Posted Saturday at 07:48 PM Sounds like with the bar, you are locking the power divider and they wont turn because brakes are set and or wheels are in the ground.. the return spring tells me the power divider is unlocked.. you can also look in the fork cover to see the fork operate, a little bit of it anyway.. Ok yes I think I was thinking about that wrong. Too many projects going on :D. But I’m not seeing anything that looks like a piston. Am I missing it?
