Wonder which quarry that was,he had mostly 88B’s in them.

I'm not sure. Is Jimmy still alive? Bob Forepaugh used to have a pretty good relationship with him. He got lots of scrap from him. At least until the accident in Telford in 2003

Bob Forepaugh, his nephew George Frederick, and Danny Evans were taking down a batch plant in Telford for Jimmy. Bobby was running an old Bay City with a magnet on it loading scrap. Somehow he was moving the lower and the the boom hit a 7,200 volt PP&L line running along the property. Danny and Georgie were burning with torches and must have heard something. The lower cab was on fire and Bobby was laying on the ground. I don't think they had any idea what happened so they ran over to help him and one of them touched the outrigger box and they all got electrocuted. They burned on the ground for at least 1/2 hour before PP&L got the power shut off. It was really horrible.

My mom called me on the phone and said something bad happened to Bobby Forpaugh and it was on the news (We were all close friends). I started calling on the Nextell and the only answer I got was Danny's uncle and he told me how bad it was.

The head of a family-owned demolition company was electrocuted and two of his employees died after running to his aid when the boom of a crane struck high-voltage power lines at a concrete plant in Telford on Thursday morning.

Owner Robert Forepaugh, 68, of Robert Forepaugh Excavating, was operating the rusty red crane when its arm touched a power line at the JDM Materials Co. plant just after 9 a.m., ejecting him from the cab, Telford Police Chief Doug Bickel said.

As electricity coursed through the metal frame, Forepaugh’s 41-year-old nephew, George Frederick, and 29-year-old Daniel Evans, both of Philadelphia, tried to save him.

Bickel said it was likely one of the employees began giving Forepaugh mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, while the other called for help on a cell phone.

That sucks… bob

Oh yeah it was horrible. Danny's Mother and Father were in Florida visiting friends along with Danny's daughter who was like 8. His mom called me and was trying to get them all on a flight back to philly and said to me "Talk to him". All he could do was freak out and scream. They were all great people and good friends. I took Danny for his driver's test when he was 16. Bobby Forepaugh was my Neighbor and he was a great guy. Lend me any of his equipment whenever I needed it, cranes, backhoes, roll off truck. I rolled a dump trailer and an R Model on a job one time and he sent his son with a 950 Cat loader to set it back on it's wheels. Never charged me a dime for anything. He was a big player in the Demolition Business in Philadelphia. Did lots of work for The Budd Company, even took down Midvale Steel's mill. He was a descendant of Adam Forepaugh

Sorry I've taken this way off topic
