i cant complain too terribly bad,,,,bought this kit partially assembled long time ago,,,and this is the first time ive come across something missing

small piece of 90 degree plastic will make a perfect eng/ transmission mount. can't see it with cab on..  looking for original ;let me know, I have numerous spare parts.

ok thanks for that,,,,im not going to worry about it its hidden and not many people are going to even look that close im fixing on building a shelf  for it right behind where i sit in the kitchen table,,,wife is not thrilled with that lol..

little more work on the engine assembly been ignoring this step as much as i can account of very tedious work putting engine parts together,,,scraping chrome and working with very small parts    take a clear mind and lotsa patience and a steady hand,,, it was easier as a teenager

If it's the one I'm thinking (also 1 I have in inventory) it's a blue LN box -on cover , straight truck

Yes, that’s the one short nose  conventional Ford. They were pretty popular over here for quite some years mainly freight trucks, pulling doubles. Or straight trucks we used to call them Straight jobs back in the east coast few years ago I’ll post a picture of the box but yes, it is blue just as Mecho mentioned.

one is an earlier version. I'd place bet the green/white is the earlier version. both same truck. easy way to tell is by the box. early one just AMT ; later box would be AMT/ matchbox?? companies bought out each other.

You have the earlier version. I went and checked ;; mine is the ford louisville "short hauler" blue cab  / silver box truck. it's AMT/ ERTL. not AMT/matchbox..  knew companies did the buy out route. yours is green cab silver box with a  produce co. decal if memory is correct. like many things today the older version plastic models are made with better quality.

I built  the same kit as a teenager. Also, I don’t remember if it was blue or red back then but that was way back around 1970 and I don’t remember it having a liftgate but I didn’t think it had the chrome wheels
