What is a twin Y suspension?  Terr:MackLogo:

Known as the V-Ride or M-Ride depending on if it's installed on a Volvo or Mack, it's the one with the super expensive V-Rods. Someone here called it an imitation camelback, which I'd have to agree. The camelback doesn't have a TPI on how to "improve" the V-Rods by using bronze races when replacing the bearing/bushing as one does a lot, the V-Ride does.

Guess i’m just old school and ran camel backs forever, far as i’m concerned can’t beat them with a very little maintenance.  Terry :MackLogo:

Our Cruiseliner is my first experence with Camel backs. It does seem very simple with just one grease point.(each side)How often would they need to be greased? Is there any other maintenance that should be done? Its very simlar to the Hino version but on the Hino the spring sits on top of the axles....Japs copy anything thats good🤣

No, Atro has nothing for these bushings. They look similar to steer axle spring pins, see the picture below... ALL of them look like that, are on a national backorder, and have no aftermarket available. That sucks.

It reminds me of a totally different suspension that was supposed to be new and great, only to have no support and sky high prices on replacement parts. The Neway ARDAB or "Air Beam" suspension. What a piece of crap, and I can say that 'cause I own one, and have had to build some replacement parts for it.

My advice is decide if it is worth putting something else under the truck, or get rid of the truck and get a better supported truck/suspension.

Truck suspensions are a "wearing"  part, so if you fix it today, you'll go thought the same hassle down the road when it needs something else done.

BTW the ARDAB also used twin bushing on top of the axle, and they wear and are very hard to find.

22700131 is the number for the upper seat bushings, 22700132 is the lower seat bushings. The lowers are available, uppers are not unfortunately, with not a single dealer in Canada or the US showing any in inventory.
