Hmm I will study that cheers pal

Nate How much gap do you have between the clutch brake and the clutch brake inside !should have 13 mm to 14 mm or 1/2 inch to 9/16! If you got that then its set correctly And the cross shafts could be sticking Or the clutch is simply done! Remove the pin from the clevice and move the arm is it stiff! should be floppy!

The arm was quite stiff and the cable has always got tension on it. I will check the measurement 2moro bud

K if the arm is stiff the cross shafts likely need freeing up and re greased! If you got that gap there is no need to adjust the clutch! That rigging o the arm can be a bitch to free up as well! Specialty after 40 or so years!😂

First thing you need to do is have the clutch adjusted properly.  Pop the clevis pin off the release lever underneath the truck and look at the space between the throw out bearing and the clutch brake. ( ASSUMING the clutch brake is still in it ) It should be @ a half inch as mentioned previously. Then if that's correct, you'll need to investigate just about everywhere else between the clevis on the end of the cable and the pedal.

If the components of the lever and adjuster on the release shaft are stuck, as F said, they're a real treat. Sometimes if you have other ones it's easier to cut the shaft and fight it apart out in the open.  I have a little tiny ram that came with a cheap porta power. Little tiny thing about an inch, I've used it to jack those things apart in a truck a couple times.

Also to note just because the cable feels fine in load every thing changes during use!

It may be a Spicer.  However, you can put an E-7 flywheel on it and get a Spicer Easy Pedal clutch.. if you have the dog dish flywheel, and are getting it machined, make sure the machine shop knows how to machine it. It needs to be cut in 2 places.. I would compare the costs, and look into a flywheel swap.. lets see what GW and JC say.. they are much smarter than me.
