Popular Post Tom in PA Posted February 2 Popular Post Share Posted February 2 Greetings - New to the forum and searching around for information I need. I purchased this 1980 Superliner about six months ago. I am preparing to put it to work in the next thirty days. It is powered by a 4MG serial code ATAAC B Model Caterpillar, RTLO18918B, and has TopLoader rears on Neway, 4.17 ratio. I will be doing all of the work to this truck. I am located in Northcentral PA and am a leased owner operator to William A. Spencer Jr. Trucking in Watsontown, PA. I also have a W900A Kenworth that I am restoring and a 79 Scout II that I daily drive. This is solid old Superliner with an aluminum frame. The frame is actually is very good shape, as is the rest of the truck. The bunk is by far the worst part, especially the roof, which is not currently weather tight by any stretch of the imagination. Looking forward to the journey. They seem to have a knack for locating hiden gems, and I like the idea of them getting into Macks. I’ve been a leased OO with Spencer for a while (since 2008). Great people. Brocky, the Spencer he's associated with is big into Kenworth from in the '80s or '90s along with other models. There's some really nice trucks involved with them. You'd appreciate seeing any of them, but I don't ever remember seeing anything Mack. That RW fits in there, and I'm kinda hoping there'll be more.
