Joey Mack Posted February 11 Share Posted February 11 Is the play in the steering box? Have you added up all the play in the steering shaft joints? Have you looked at the spring u- bolts to see if they are loose, and the axle is sliding slightly? Also check all the ball joints in the drag link and tie rod, Its odd that a rebuilder would put a worn worm gear and sector shaft back in the box. The 492 is the model number, I found the Weller options by searching that. Here's the link.
