2016 CXU613 Pennical MP7, starts fine when ran daily but if it sits for 48 hours it will start for a second then die requiring cranking for 20 seconds to start. Acts as if fuel is leaking back in the lines. I'm assuming that it might be a faulty fuel check valve but where is it? Or am I missing out on something else?

Injector cups is likely the issue. Check valve is in the fuel filter pad, if i remember correctly, and the line at the rear of the head on MP-7 has the regulator in the fitting. If memory is correct.. MP-8 is at the front of the head for sure...

If you pump the hand primer, will it start quicker, I have also replaced a handfull of fuel filter pads on MP-7's due to primer leaks. The old style doesnt have a replaceable primer, .
