Popular Post cruiseliner64 Posted Tuesday at 01:40 AM Popular Post Share Posted Tuesday at 01:40 AM A guy who lived just 7 miles from me had one of these trucks.It was a 2 axle and I saw it many times over the years.I dint know where it is now as the guy passed away and his collection was sold off.He told me it was a very simple truck to drive but with just forward and reverse but it would go at the same speed either way....I also drove steam locomotives as I was a volunteer driver with the Railway Preservation Movement here. I love the names of the American Railroads.I really enjoyed working the steam locos,hard dirty work but very enjoyable.Im stood down from it as im over 60 and the health and safety office wont allow over 60s to work them.More pussy foot rules,Men worked them into their 70s back in the day....
