It looked like this here just the other day- Then after the snow we had the sleet, then the freezing rain, then more freezing rain, and more freezing rain. There was more trees and power lines down than you could shake a stick at because of the ice. We had no power for a little over 2 days. Fortunately we did get a generator and it powered everything we needed. We had 2 refrigerators plugged in, a freezer, Zina was able to work, and I could watch Family Feud. We got our power back last night about 6:30. It's been raining all day, it's supposed to rain tomorrow, and it's supposed to be windy, with 40 mph. gusts. The ground is completely saturated now so if it's windy more trees are likely to blow down and take out more power lines. Started here about 7:20 this morning, right about the time I let the dog out. 10 minutes later the ground was white, and it's still snowing. The high today and tomorrow isn't supposed to get out of the 20's. I like to watch them though, we have doves, cardinals, blue jays, wood peckers, even had about a dozen crows out there this morning. I always throw some food on the ground because the crows and doves are too big to get on the feeders. It would last longer if it weren't for the squirrels, I went out and filled the feeders during the last storm and by the time I got back inside there was 6 squirrels out there. 1 Quote Producer of poorly photo-chopped pictures since 1999.
