Pros and cons of getting rid of electronic governor? Only downsides I could see is losing cruise and possible labor involved with putting in throttle linkage and some other odds and ends. From what I’ve read the electronics were retarded some from the mechanicals likely due to emissions.

Put a Blixxton on it. That's what I did with my 94 E7350 years ago and it really wakes up the engine. Great low end throttle response just like a mechanical with the puff limiter bypassed.

Is that a programmer or something?

I have never used one of these. Kinda like to see what it would do.  I certainly know how a normal E-7 Powered Mack runs...
