I remember when they used to make chocolate milk out of the "onion milk" to hide the onion taste. Happened when the cows ate the wild scallions

fortunately I found one of the cardboard stoppers my Grandfather used on his milk bottles having His name on it,,  tried in '78 after I bought the Grandparents farm(what was left of it) to keep it going.

My grandfather delivered milk from his farm by horse and wagon to local towns for years. remember walking into barn (as a youngster ) and being shot in the face by milk straight from the cow He was milking. days todays generation will never understand OR could appreciate. IF we could only go back to such a simpler /positive/ Family environment.

Ah Mech,if only...I'd go back to those times in the blink of an eye.Ireland only really caught up to the rest of the world starting in the mid 80s.the first 20 years of my existance was bliss. Now I'm really lucky to have a wife who feels the same and we keep things as 80s as we can. We'v often been told we live in the past but that a big 10/4 for us....

Ain’t nothing like it used to be I did love the 80s but at the same time I was beating myself to death running around the clock. Don’t miss that part of it…. Bob

While I think the 80's and early 90's were the zenith for equipment reliability, I also remember run a way inflation and high interest rates. It is easy to look back with "rose colored" glasses and only remember the good things. Trucks from the 80's can still be used today, but as far as inflation and interest rates, no thank you.
