I definitely like the looks of the Diamond better but the v195 isn’t too bad. Anybody know the difference between a v-190 and v-195? harrybarbon Posted March 13 Share Posted March 13 The Inter 190 may have vacuum brakes, a smaller sized diff (Eaton no 4) and lighter front axle, the 195 should have air brakes, bigger Eaton no 5 diff and heavier front axle. Frame should be same for both. Both the Inter and DT are beaut trucks and look mighty fine in front of your shed. I know the 921 was a pretty standard heavy highway model. In the Diamond T numbering system from 600 to 900 the higher the series number the heavier duty the truck was.. I am not that knowledgeable on IH's numbers, but I would say they are about equal in working strength???? Going by the background in your pictures I am assuming you will only be using them, basically locally, in planting and harvest seasons. Personally if both trucks are roughly equal mechanically I would keep BOTH!!! and still keep my eye open for another Comp-fo-vision cab? Be careful though!! They are not totally interchangeable!! It was a movie. I've heard the term over time used when trying to decide something that was tough to make a decision about. I remember watching some of it cause that chick on there was pretty hot. I really like the Diamond T, maybe because I have one But the IH looks like a nice solid truck that would be easy enough to fix up and paint. I'd have a hard time cutting it up. How rusty is the Diamond T cab?
