when you are up to your armpits in alligators,

it is hard to remember you only came in to drain the swamp..

i will also add, if they ever offered an LTL glider kit, i would snatch one up....

then stuff a 600 HP X15 cummins with allison trans in it just to use as a daily driver.

Yeah, that is about the power level I was thinking. It looks like there is enough room and frontal area to get the cooling you'd need in there. It has to be as big as a 379 I would think

What do you think about having windshields that open like the early L cab? Three hinge doors and a more modern door latch would strengthen up the cab

i would pass on the tip out glass. i am at the stage of life where if it does not have "meat locker" AC, it aint for me!!!

Well the new Mack is out and it is called the Pioneer. Volvo clone with Mack hood and grill. Should have placed the Mack logo in the center of the grill instead of the bottom. I like the looks of the Anthem better. The pioneer will have a much improved interior I guess. Rumor has it that the Pinnacle axle forward will be dropped. Mack will not have a competitor in the long hood market leaving the likes of Paccar, Daimler and VW the lone providers. This would be a shame. The Mack Pinnacle axle forward is a good looking truck in my opinion. They are seen all over the Boston area.
