Morning all. Bit of advice needed. I’ve got to adjust the pressure plate up too the clutch brake etc but before that do I have to do anything with the clutch arm adjustment on the side of the gearbox ? Cheers

Im not sure on the gap size for a Lipe clutch, but the newer ones are set to 1/2" between clutch brake and throughout bearing, and 1/8" between fork tips and throughout bearing. Sorry i dont know the metric numbers . I guess 13 mm and 3 mm...

did the stud back out (hopefully) or did it snap off below the spoke surface?

They can be a pain if the stud snapped off. If near the surface weld a nut onto the top of the stud, gives something to wrench on and heat from the arc weld often breaks the rust bond.

Na it’s been a ryt b *******d was snapped below the hub line so tried welding and that dint work so I’ve had to drill it too an inch of its life. I’ve ordered a new tap to hopefully rescue the threads 😭😭😭😭

I think 80W-90 is sufficient, it has been used here for decades. Some guys use 80-140 also...

Do you have a chart that shows what grade oil for the climate you live in?
