The guy didn't have any story or history of anything, he pretty much just walked around videoing houses and trucks. There was a lot of old firetrucks there too. He did say the locals that were still there were not very friendly, and he was warned about trespassing. He never showed a good look at the R Model, I found the better picture on Google Maps Street View.

The town was called Moselle, Missouri.

It saddens me to see this Seagrave just sitting in that town, in the condition it is in now, with junk piled all over it.  It was a beautiful rig when I shot it in Masontown, PA.

lt took a moment but l found it across the tracks (3054 Moselle Rd.) at the cat lady's house. I'm sure a SPAAMFAA member would like to have that truck.    .....Hippy

That Hartlage and the Mack for that matter look almost photoshopped in the pictures.  No way either one sat outside for years.

I noticed that about the Apache, especially the rear wheels and tires. They’re not even dirty. Thought that was really weird. I had not thought of that … bob

I took a trip there on Google Maps as soon as you said firetrucks!  I found five.  On the other side of that Campbell Express trailer sits an open cab American LaFrance 700 Series.  It saddens me to see this Seagrave just sitting in that town, in the condition it is in now, with junk piled all over it.  It was a beautiful rig when I shot it in Masontown, PA.

This is the same truck that's in the video?

That was definitely looks like it’s been there a while thanks for that Tom

I'm on the computer now,  Zina wants me to print something for her. I'm going to take another look at google earth too, I can see it a lot better than I can on the phone.  Maybe i'll even see the cat lady.

Oh yeah, I see lots of stuff. There's still Christmas lights on that balcony...there's a Cargostar International back there at the edge of the woods, behind that lift and the orange and black car, along with a couple more fire trucks. Definitely one of the weirdest places i've ever seen, like something you'd see in a horror movie. Wonder why there's so many old trucks and van trailers parked all around? And only one or two houses in the whole town that looks like the grass has been cut in the last 3 years, but there's some fairly new looking vehicles and boats parked in some of the driveways. Several broke down lawn mowers parked in the weeds though. Strange.

I can't believe how some of that stuff held up being outside. Couple of those trucks look pretty good.

They did.

This thread made me think of a B model that has been siting outside in the same sport on the outskirts of Pittsburgh for literal decades. I honestly remember seeing this truck sit in the exact same spot back when I was a toddler riding in a car seat in the late 1980s. It hasn't moved since and actually doesn't look bad at all. Right on PA51 in McKees Rocks, PA. I was through there about a month ago and its still there....

I was wondering about that truck, I was reminded of it too. I used to pass by it every time I went to load at Lane Steel in Mckees Rocks. I took several pictures of it too.
